Getting personal
I started shooting weddings professionally in 2007 as a photographer for a company in Baton Rouge. I made the switch to video in 2015 and joined the Montoto Production team as a filmmaker and editor. I joined the WAFB Channel 9 marketing team in 2021, and have found my calling. Being proficient in both fields, I am able to approach each project as a cinematographer with a photographer’s eye. I understand the hours poured over small details, love being able to film real and raw emotions as they happen, and I will do just about anything to elicit a laugh.
When I am not filming, you can find me traveling the world with my husband, James. We have two cats, Frank and Judy. I like to lie to myself and say I enjoy hiking, am obsessed with escape rooms, and I am fueled solely on string cheese and diet coke. Most importantly, I truly am honored and humbled to help tell your story.
